(I recorded this earlier than the harm nerf launch) So immediately we’re going over some the explanation why the League group has primarily a extra destructive tone in direction of the event of the sport, hopefully you guys can have consolation when you’ve got some of these ideas your self or if you aren’t getting why individuals have been destructive perhaps this helps perceive! WHY ARE PEOPLE NEGATIVE TOWARDS LEAGUE? | League of Legends

+1 I.P.
I mainly just play events anymore and log off until the next one. I used to play a ton of support and jungle but eventually the matches got really predictable. And ppl misuse early surrender votes. I want an auto-no button unless there's an afk.
I didnt really like the game since the Galio rework :p
Even as a spectator for pro play and sometimes content creators it got very stale the past 4ish years. I remember when people thought season 8 was garbage… and then it got worse?!? Tbh ever since season 6 elo inflating, then season 9 hyper elo inflating, and the gameplay going from strategy and longer windows of opportunity to a fighting game (or roaming game) with full power being available almost every 10 seconds (especially depending who you play) is lame as fuck. I personally dont mind weird playstyle or diverging from season 1 worlds meta as the standard but what I do mind is that there is little thought put into the game as soon as it loads in anymore.
i never even knew league had such a bad community until i started playing it in 2019. fun game but ass community
League of Legends’ curse is the time you spend stuck in a game where you’re not having fun, either because of gameplay or the other players’ behavior, while in other games you would just leave and start over.
Healing and damage being too good exacerbates this because they create situations where you don’t get to play anymore that repeat until the game is over.
Funny enough the linus tech tips video i was watching before this made fun of league, league is universally hated due more to the community than the game itself. The worst part is people play it even if they know it isnt fun and will be like “ye im on my third account”
Probably bad interactions with the community team members/support, etc. and mistrust after contentious monetization and balance practices.
At least those were the most common complaints back when I still actively played. Stuff like IE-stacking Jhin was allowed to run rampant until it started to affect pro play, at which point only then did Rito bother to do anything about it.
It was pretty much a given around that time that Rito would just do stuff like that. Didnt help that practically every big notable player was complaining about how stale the game is, especially with power creep.
As for the power creep… that's something that's come back to bite them. Havent kept up with how they were doing recently, but last I checked, people were raging up a storm about Akshan. Didnt seem like it was any better that last time I checked.
Theres also that crowd that longs for the previous seasons of league that will obviously never come back. If League continues to change as it has, it might attract more people over time, but theres always going to be some that get shaken off the bandwagon by certain changes.
The thing is, as far as I understand, they are not nerfing damage, they are buffing total health and resistances… Some champions will still be a problem, compounded by the versatility of the items
My problem with league is its been assassin meta since 2019. And it feels like their champ design department adopted the philosophy of "flashy with low counterplay"
They're saying the right things, I'm pessimistic about how they're going to execute. I don't mind the idea of a tank/bruiser meta as long as you give adc's the tools to deal with them. Particularly I feel gap closers need to be removed entirely from items. Leave mobility in champ kits.
I stop playing league. I still watch it. Being a jg and in the first min of playing and top laner dies and blames me the entire game or mid for not being there got really old and im to old to dealing with all that LOL. Part wrong with NA tho its always someone else fault they lost a 1v1……
I stopped playing league 2 years ago but I still enjoy hearing your conversation videos. Maybe one day league will pique my interest again
ok
I think a lot of negativity comes from many playing for the ego rush/MUST WIN mentality VS playing to win, but wanting fun, competitive games. Riot seems to be catering to this first group with their whole "balance champions to be fun to play, not to play against" which combined with high burst creates an UN-FUN experience with a lot of ridiculous situations without counterplay. This less-fun environment contributes to the FF15/"next!" mentality where players are chasing wins on games where they're ahead rather than actually enjoying the game they're currently in..
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'd rather barely win/barely lose a close, interactive game vs. seeing a blowout in either direction.
Hello :3
RiotAxes gives me hope that the game will improve. Still lots of complaints but he makes me think that the game might finally be moving in a good direction.
Item wise I think certain items shouldn't be in the game like galeforce & duskblade (or at least their effects.) and that some champions still don't really have a mythic that really fits them or a few holes in optimization that could still be filled.
But i'm kinda hopeful for the future of leage now knowing that damage is going down in the game. It's goping to take them a bit to balance everything properly but this is a good step in the right direction.
Also about these weird picks, I get it if people specifically pick them because they counter the other champion in a way if it fits in th e team comp.
Also anything else positive that came out in the last few years… Vex probably haha she's one of my fav champs. But in all honestly the last big new thing that was genuinely exciting to me were the new dragons but that's quite a few years ago by now so yeah.

I like discussion videos too rather than just gameplay 🙂 you're a good talker. Also, yes with the damage nerf/durability update, my view is getting more positive. Damage/healing is out of control rn
I really enjoyed this video, you should do more of this type! I am more negative towards League and most if not all my friends can't stand it anymore. I started playing during s3. My friends list is mostly empty nowadays, nobody plays anymore and if they do its an aram or event mode. I can't stand ranked anymore and I am ranked only played or at least i was until this season. Now if I play lol there is a 90% chance I am playing an aram or OFA. Ranked has gotten too toxic, too stressful, it feels like a job that doesn't even pay well. Its been meme'd over and over again, but I really want S3 back. I want a LOL classic, I cant stand what LOL has become, its nothing like what it was and meant to us gamers long ago… Serphine showed us Riots true motivations…Greed, they only care about short-term profits at the expense of game and player health. An entire champion made just to sell a skin, and they used mental health as a way to try and get sympathy from us, disgusting. Its time for a new game to replace League of Legends.
Another positive: the mid scope updates for champions without them feeling broken.
They have improved a lot and I'm very optimistic about the future. Somethings that I think they need to improve on communication to their player base. The urgency they need to fix needs to be quicker, how long was chem Drake a problem?, 2, 3, 4 patches? , Everyone was complaining on how toxics yet they are really trying to change it and keep it around. Toxicity and trolling is definitely still a big issue and I'd like to see harsher punishments. The client has been a lot less buggy since their fix, even if I don't like the new layout.
Keep content like this coming, I think it's very healthy to do.
Huzy i Can agree on the new champions are really over tuned, and the MRR system, i feel like Riot tends to falling listening to the community
