Zoey tells us she realizes she shouldn’t have gone alone (the lesson) however little within the episode helps it. We don’t see Zoey wrestling with whether or not she ought to do it alone, she simply merely goes for it. If that was imagined to be an enormous a part of the story why not dig deeper into the explanation why Zoey glided by herself. Was it as a result of she was afraid of messing issues up like she did with the fossil at first? Did she not need to trouble anybody? It’s not very clear and that’s what this episode wanted.
By digging deeper into why Zoey felt she needed to go alone would have gone a good distance in serving to us be taught one thing new about Zoey, which might have given this episode extra life. We do get a pleasant callback to the beginning of the sequence with Zoey’s need to unravel large issues however it comes so late within the story it’s in the end pointless. As it’s the A-story is solely Zoey tousled, Zoey fixes the issue, finish of story. Nothing additional. It leaves the entire thing feeling like a top level view that wanted extra element stuffed in.
The B-story with Roxy was a bit extra fascinating, if solely as a result of it helped deliver the plot ahead together with her (supposed) ultimate destruction. Ravi bought to take the ultimate shot on her which was a fantastic little contact though you want the true Roxy or Blaze had been ready to participate it in it.
With evil Roxy off the board it appears we’re approaching (*19*) Morphers‘ endgame. I’m to see how the present ends as a result of previously once they’ve wanted to do BIG plot episodes the present has performed a fairly stable job. Hopefully they will deliver a few of the power from that musical sequence to the finale!
