Varus is strong, I just think that his problem is that the meta only has enough time for one On-Hit ADC at a time. If you want to have good (but not great) poke, you can pick Ezreal or Ashe. If you want On-Hits, Vayne is probably best at the current moment, since Kog'Maw isn't nearly as good. However, both of those ADCs can bring self-utility to the team, which as a Machine-Gunner ADC is necessary since it's unreliable to get peel.
Huzzy, however, faced down a Renekton and melted him, so there is likely some level of self-expression in all cases.
Trundle being more popular is probably bc of junglers buying tank items hence he profits alot from stealing their stats
AP varus is 100% viable.
Why does varus q (wind-up) doesn't have like a indication where your arrow will land?

Wp huzzy My theory is the durability update makes trundle more popular! It is a secret buff to his ultimate because no matter who he hits it’s giving him more stats compared to before the update
