Last week’s UK bodily charts from Gfk noticed Mario vs. Donkey Kong take the highest spot whereas Skull and Bones disillusioned (regardless of debuting in fourth). GamesIndustry head Christopher Dring reported on Twitter that the previous dropped to 3rd on account of a 62 % gross sales lower whereas the latter fell to sixteenth on account of a 68 % drop. However, there’s the curious case of Helldivers 2.
Arrowhead Game Studios’ third-person co-op shooter, launched on February eighth for PS5 and PC, presently ranks fourth, with gross sales up by 20 %. It marks the second week gross sales have gone up, which Dring notes is “very uncommon”, with Just Dance having an analogous sample. For a title about dropping on alien planets and delivering democracy by way of explosive payload, it’s fairly good.
We’ll learn how it carried out in the area total when digital gross sales information arrives. Sony hasn’t revealed gross sales numbers, although CEO Johan Pilestedt hinted at it reaching almost three million models offered. Stay tuned for extra updates, and take a look at our overview for Helldivers 2.
In the UK bodily charts, Helldivers 2 is now as much as No.4 with gross sales up 20% in its third week. That’s 2 consecutive weeks of rises (which could be very uncommon). Mario vs Donkey Kong all the way down to No.3 with a (extra peculiar) 62% gross sales drop. Skull and Bones all the way down to No.16 (-68% w-o-w)
