Devil May Cry 5 To Take 15 Hours To Complete – Hideaki Hints At A New DLC Character

The recent press Q&A session in Seoul with Hideaki Itsuno, Devil May Cry 5’s director, revealed some useful information about the game. Hideaki revealed when asked about how long the game would be, that this new game is supposed to be roughly 15 hours long, longer than any of the previous game titles.

Itsuno has also confirmed that there might be further playable characters in the game, aside from the main three protagonists: Danto, Nero and V. Not much is known about V, but from what we know, here’s a small breakdown: He’s a mage-type character.

He has a different play-style than Dante and Nero, most likely focusing mainly on ranged gameplay. It’s going to be fun mastering a completely new and unique character in this Hack ‘n Slash game.

However, there is a catch to the new mysterious fourth character though. The supposed new playable character may not be included in the base game but will come out in one of the DLCs. Of course, we are excited about it.

I, myself, am hoping the new playable character to be Vergil, Dante’s brother. His special combos and play-style make him my favorite DmC series character.

This is very exciting news and we are eagerly looking forward to this new mysterious character and the oh so long gameplay. 15 hours does sound like it may be a drag to play, but seeing the Red Grave City gameplay, which turned out to be a pretty great I’m betting that the game is going to glue players’ eyes to the screen 24/7!

And if that isn’t enough, Cerberus is finally back too! Three forms were revealed back in early October, and all three of them look great. One final thing Hideaki said, to be noted, is that:

More characters might also be added if there is demand from players.

We have compiled a list of things we wish to see in Devil May Cry 5: 10 Things That Will Spice It Up.
