After having introduced that a number of older video games will see their servers and DLC decommissioned at this time, Ubisoft has now introduced that these plans for Assassin’s Creed video games have been delayed to October 1.
Announced via a put up on Ubisoft’s boards, the plans to delay the decommissioning of Assassin’s Creed multiplayer servers and DLC purchases possible occurred thanks to the video games having vocal playerbases.
It is price noting that, regardless of the delay, the decommissioning remains to be slated to occur. Check out the listing of Assassin’s Creed video games that may see their servers and DLC decommissioned beneath.
- Assassin’s Creed 2 – PS3 (2009 launch)
- Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood – PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360 (2010 launch)
- Assassins Creed Revelations – PS3, Xbox 360 (2011 launch)
- Assassin’s Creed 3 – PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360 (2012 launch)
- Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD – PC (2014 launch)
While these video games will see their DLC and multiplayer not out there from October 1 onwards, many of those video games have been remastered. The decommissioning solely impacts the unique releases of those video games; the remasters will see no modifications.
