Escalation Protocol is one of the new PvE events brought in with the new Destiny 2 expansion among the host of other content. Each new event is unique in its nature and has a lot of different twists and turns to offer you. For that reason, it is essential to have this Destiny 2 Warmind Escalation Protocol Guide by your side.
Our Destiny 2 Warmind Escalation Protocol Guide will tell you everything that there is to know about Escalation Protocol in Destiny 2 and then explain how you can finish the event with ease.
Destiny 2 Warmind Escalation Protocol
In order to begin the Escalation Protocol, complete the Warmind campaign with is quite easy to do since it is so short. After that, go to Mars and find the red panels on the floor. Interacting with one of these panels will begin the Escalation Protocol event.
The event requires x3 players in a team to work with other teams in the space to move from one point to the other and take out enemies that are listed as threats. The enemies will probably be marked and you will be made aware of what you have to do so that you can fully focus on killing rather than navigating.
You will start off by clearing various different waves of Hive enemies. The waves will be 7 in total and will obviously get increasingly difficult with each progression. Once you have cleared all 7 of the waves that are attacking you, you will be through with the first part of the event.
The second part of the event will trigger as soon as you eradicate the 7th wave of Hive enemies. In the second part, you will have to take on a final boss that will be very powerful and will probably require a high amount of coordination to beat.
The boss will also be different depending on the week. There are 5 different bosses that can be a part of Escalation Protocol and a new one will replace the previous one every week.
Escalation Protocol Rewards
Now we come to the fun part. As is the case with every single Destiny 2 Public event, there will be multiple rewards for you and your friends to collect in Escalation Protocol.
You will get the special armor items from the bosses as you would expect, and you will need to face the new boss every week if you plan to get your hands on the armor set that is associated with it.
Of course, you will also be able to get a plethora of other weapons that will have unique perks on them along with items that exist for the sake of customization. A lot of the people will be playing the event to simply farm some of the better items that will surely be dropped as you take out wave after wave of Hive enemies.
