Destiny 2 Legion’s Gulch Crucible Map
Legion’s Gulch Overview
Game modes: Clash, Supremacy and Control
Although the Legion’s Gulch is a very large map, most of it is rendered useless due to the massive Cabal drilling platform. What this means is that this has two distinct areas separated by a large canyon. Drops to death are quite commonplace even for the most experienced players.
The city is the bulk of the playable area featuring both close quarter combat and sniping lanes. A bridge runs between the city ruins and the drilling platform with four launchers scattered around the edge of the canyon. Ambush sites are commonplace so watch out.
Legion’s Gulch locations
The courtyard serves as one of the three sources of Power Ammo for both Clash and Supremacy. In Control it contains both Power Ammo spawn and Capture Point A so this is one of the most important areas of the map.
It is also extremely large with a lot of cover options. It also has a host of entry points and a Cabal Launcher so you can pretty much use any playing style you prefer. It is also a starting area for one of the teams.
This is a small location which acts as a connecting path between Courtyard and Middle. It has ample sniping opportunities as well as cover for a multitude of playstyles.
This is a badly damaged building which provides a good amount of cover when you are moving between Courtyard and Middle. It is also a decent vantage point so learn to use it properly.
This is a small narrow passage which can be useful as a flanking route or as a vantage point overlooking Courtyard and Middle but not much else.
This is the middle area in the center of the city. It has a lot of foot traffic with a multitude of routes and cover options. Expect a fight when heading into the area.
The bridge features one of the three Power Ammo spawn points during Clash and Supremacy. This is a straightforward path between Drill and Middle with a few cover options.
Drill contains capture point B during Control. This is an extremely large battleground with nice aesthetics. It can also be used as a safe space to break away from engagements.
The Office is one of the two Power Ammo spawn points during games of Control. It is the city’s largest accessible structure with a lot of entry points and some small points of cover. This is a very frequented horizontal space with a lot of fights.
This is a very busy intersection which can be used to break away from firefights. It has a central piece of cover along with three different points of entry which can aid in escape.
Street has one of the three Power Ammo spawn points during Clash and Supremacy. It has a few cover options but can also work as a sniping lane and a flanking route.
This is a small structure on the corner of the map which can be used to break away from firefights and to scout the adjacent areas.
Cliff is the C capture point during games of Control. It is an extremely open space with a very little cover which also serves as a starting point for one of the teams.
